Exchagne 2010 Activesync Test on Internal Network

I'm upgrading from an Exchange 2007 environment to a 2010 environment. We currently use activesync on the 2007 environment and are planning on using the same namespace (mail.company.com) as we transition the external access to the 2010 CAS environment (and use the legacy.company.com namespace for 2007).

I have 2010 up and running and things appear to be working fine (OWA, Outlook Anywhere) via the test we have done. I have done TEST-ACTIVESYNCCONNECTIVITY PS command and for Mailboxes on the 2010 environment this all passes with "Success".

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to TEST/ENSURE that activesync will work via our Hardware NLB (F5)? With OWA and Outlook Anywhere I'm able to change a host file on the windows machine to point mail.company.com to the 2010 IP address of the F5 to confirm things are working properly, but I'm wondering how I can test Activesync from the LAN before upgrade time to give me a comfort level that Activesync is working properly above the Exchange layer??

THANKS.
