Just migrated to 2010 from Exchange 2003. In 2003, we can set a global policy for sending and receiving attachment size, then override that in individual's account setting when we need someone to have a higher limit. However, this is not working in 2010. We set the Global Settings in Hub Transport (Organization Configuration ) as well as the Hub Transport in Server Configuration to 20mbs. Then set a specific reicipient's Mail Flow Settings-Message Size Resitrictions to 30mbs. However, each time we try to send something over 20mbs, it get rejected by Exchange 2010. No issues when we email attachments less than 20mbs. Read through few discussions in this forum, someone posted that we would need to set the "global settings" higher and adjust everyone else to lower limit would be only way for this to work. I really hope this is not the case since it would be a pain to go into each mailbox to change this.
Thanks in advance.
