I can't see a way to do this on the lab server (it may be a case that it isn't possible). Have performed the following:
- Built one 2010 MBX server and created a PF DB on it
- Created a second 2010 MBX server and created a PF DB on it for testing HA
- Created a test PF on MBX01
- Ran the .\AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 script
- The public folder replica appeared for both servers as expected
- I added a second test PF and it doesn't appear with both repliacs and I assumed it would inherit a replica set or something (this is the part I dont know about)
Question time:
- Is this normal? ie Each time you or a user creates a public folder, someone will have to manually run the script to pick up any new public folders to replicate between the servers or do this manually via the console/shell?
- The Hierachy doesn't appear to replicate automatically? I can use Update-Hierachy and the PF appears on both servers instantly (without replicas of course but thats expected), but it doesn't appear to do this automatically. Does the Hierachy only update once a day or do you have to update the hierachy manually each time a PF is added?
