Help configuring send connector to use gmail

Cant't send mail through Exchange 2010, messages stuck in queue.  We just switched over to running Server 2008R2 and Exchange 2010 and we have some POP3 connector software to pull all the google/gmail emails into Exchange.  I have that all setup on the new server but we still cannot send emails.  We were previously using SBS 2003 with the POP3 Connector and sending all mail through the smart host, smtp.gmail.com, and it was working great.  Now we can receive the emails fine but when we try to send they get stuck in the queue.  I thought I configured the send connector correctly to use smtp.gmail.com and used our admin user to authenticate with TLS but they are still stuck in the queue.  We do not have a Static IP and are using a DynDNS product to sync our domain name and we actually have 2 domain names, komenwestmichigan.org and komengr.org.  All of our emails go to komenwestmichigan.org but the DynDNS points to komengr.org, don't know if that makes a difference.
Any help is appreciated.
