I upgraded to Exchange 2007 a few years ago from Exchange 2003 and updated the servers to allow public folders to still be available in exchange 2007. Now we want to upgrade to Exchange 2010 and we don't care about public folders. We have a total of 3 Exchange Servers. 2 servers are mailbox server roles running in a ccr cluster and the 3rd has the Client Access / Hub Transport Server roles. However when running the pre deployment analyzer to upgrade Exchange 2007 to exchange 2010 it finds 3 servers and 2 admin groups. One of the servers found is a Exchange 2003 no longer on the network. Can I proceed with the upgrade or do I need to resolve this first? If so how?
