Is there anyway to set a self reset password feature on Exchange 2010? I have set up with the Change password feature on outlook web, yet the users are still finding difficulty and keep forgetting the password. I think it is wasting the resources in the corporate level user password managing.
1) So is there anyway to reset the password to the phone or to another colleague's email?
There will be the reset password or forgot password button, if the user clicks, it will ask for the username and email or phone number to send the random password to. Then users can proceed with the changing. Something like that...
2) For my current reset page, it uses the information to reset like:
Domain\Username -
Password -
New password -
Confirm password -
Mostly, the users face the problem with forgetting to put the domain name and backlash. Then they just simply ask IT to reset the password for them. So for the problem 2), is there a way to separate or remove the domain and set it default so that the users do not need to type in, then just typing the username will be enough to change the password?
Could that be possible?
