I'm attemtping to perform a test discovery search via RBAC and the Contol panel in preperation for a Open records request I have coming up. I have defined my search to include a specific word from a specific mailbox and to a specific mailbox, provided
a date range, a mailbox to to search in and told the search to copy the search results to the destination mailbox ( discovery search mailbox) with full logging enabled. When the search completes it says that it found 2 hits on 1 mailbox (as expected) but,
when I go to the discovery mailbox I not only see the emails I was searching for but, almost the entire contents of the mailbox I searched of which 99% did not even come close to matching any of the search criteria. I been looking on the internet all afternoon
but, haven't found anything that addresses this scenario so far. Probably something I'm missing but, I've gone through the search options time after time and cannot find a way to only get the search results that only meet the criteria. Anyone else ever ran
into anything like this?
