I am currently running Exchange 2007 and for Exchange 2010 migration I ran Pre-Deployment Analyzer and the following issue is reported under critical issues
Permission Inheritance block on Organizational unit: Servers..Domain: Contoso
Access Control List inheritance is blocked for the Organizational unit: Servers object in domain 'contoso.com' (OU=servers,OU=NA,DC=xyz,DC=Contoso,DC=com). This may cause mail flow problems, recipient update service..................
We have a root domain contoso.com and all servers and users are in the child domain xyz.contoso.com.
Our existing Exchnage 2007 servers are also located under "Servers" OU and due to security policy we do block inheritance on the "Servers" OU. Inheritance is not blocked on the actual servers located under "Servers" OU.
"Microsoft Exchange System Objects" OU is under contoso.com and inheritance is not blocked.
Would there be any issues if I proceed with Exchange 2010 installation? All exchange 2010 servers will be under "Servers" OU.
