Hi, I am looking at an Exchange consolidation project for multiple Exchange 07/10 Organizations. One of the first ‘quick wins’ is to get a global outbound SMTP address space.
Is there a limit to the number of individual entries that can be created using the “New-AddressRewriteEntry” cmdlet ?
As the plan is to create individual outbound address re-writes, and we will have over 15,000 objects.
Note: the reason we want to go with individual ones – instead of a @domain level re-write – is to ensure uniqueness
It is a shame the new Address Rewrite feauture cannot do what the E2003 version could do (which was lookup the address to re-write from a contact’s primary SMTP address)
Thanks
