Scenario
Calendar Repair is enabled and running and seems to be working with only one problem. Although Ted's (a former employee whose mailbox needs to be retained for a bit longer) mailbox has had calendar repair disabled (set-mailbox ed -calendarrepairdisabled $true) his mailbox is still being scanned and owned items restored to attendee's calendars. For example:
Meeting Subject: One on One
Owner: Ted
Attendee: Jane
Recurrence: Every Tuesday
Since Ted left, Jane has deleted (she insists she actually declined after the first ExCRA restore but...) all of the outstanding meetings with Ted from her calendar but, now that ExCRA has been enabled, these meetings are restored to her calendar after Ted's maibox is scanned.
It appears to me that the calendarepairdisabled setting only keeps the mailbox itself from being repaired and has no impact on whether or not the maibox is scanned and used as a source for repairs inserted into other mailbox calendars.
Outside of moving the mailbox to a server without ExCRA running, is there another way to exclude a mailbox as a source of calendar repair?
Thanks,
Brian
