I've got two exchange servers running on the same AD site - the first is replicating to the second which is located in our DR site in case anything should go SNAFU. Each server has the CAS, HT and MB roles installed however only the MB role is replicated with Double Take availability.
I've noticed with the DR site up and running that when e-mails are sent to external recipients it's going through the DR site, which is not what I want. I would like all e-mails to be attempted from my primary server and if it's not available to go to the secondary server for delivery.
Can this be done with adding another send connector of SMTP * and setting a higher priority (like 10) and adding the secondary exchange server to this connector?
