I recently started having issues with outlook 2010 on a laptop. It will not connect to exchanger 2010 or OWA. The issue is just this laptop. We have about 50 computers that connect to exchange but this is the only one that started having this issue. I can ping the server with the FQDN and machine name. I narrowed down the possible issue to an expired certificate. I have resolved the certificate issue but still have the connection issue to exchange server 2010 and OWA. I have uninstlled an reinstalled office professional plus 2010 about 5 times in the last 2 weeks in order to try and resolve this problem, but it still keeps coming back. I cannot find anything in the log files on the server or on the laptop about this connection issue. Another twist to this problem is, we have our exchange server on a vmware virtual server and when this connection to exchange server 2010 and OWA stop working so does my ability to login to remote desktop. It is pointing to an SSL problem since I can't connect to exchange server 2010, OWA or remote desktop when this connection issue happens with outlook. Any idea as to why this would happen?
