Please advise, i have a problem with my DCs as per this thread and i thought it wise to raise my exchange concerns on exchange forum.
I had installed exchange 2010 sp1(with typical exchange roles) on a DC running Server 2008 R2 sp1 and now i want remove exchange and demote the server.
I have set up new member server 2008 R2 ready to install a new instance of exchange then move all mailboxes to that server.
My Questions are
- Will client machines detect the new mail server as the CAS server after uninstall? (Am planning to install a the typical roles just like the other one)
- What else i need to know or do before i uninstall and proceed with this.
