Cannot delete messages that are oversized.

Hello,

I have the following situation:

1. Exchange server was configured to allow a maximum message size of 50MB.

2. Users received mail that was 35MB.

3. Exchange is reconfigured for a maximum message size of 25MB.

4. User attempts to Delete the now Oversized Email using OWA which fails.

5. User attempts to Dete the now Oversized Email use Outlook 2010 which deletes the local copy but not the copy on the server.

Question: If all the user wants to do is Permanently delete an oversized message how can they do it?

Exchange 2010 SP2 RU3.
