We have 2 domains and a single forest and exchange organization runnning 2007 and 2010 co-existence
a user in the second domain gets 'cannot display public folder' on a public folder in an exchange server in the first domain when default user is reviewer.
this is a 2010 user who is getting a referral to a 2007 mailbox server because there's no replication to the 2010 mailbox server.
question: is default user apply only to the domain users in which the mailbox server is located?
are the users in the second domain denied access because default user doesn't apply to their domain or does default user mean a user logged on to one of the domains in the forest?
do I need to replicate the public folder to the mailbox server role in the second domain so that default user can apply to users in the second domain?
anonymous user has no permissions so it looks like the second domain users are treated as anonymous.
