My team has shut down the DAG nodes in our secondary datacenter for datacenter maintenance. As a part of this shut down we have put the servers into DAG maintenance mode and also suspended DAG database replication to the target servers in the secondary datacenter.
We wanted to check the replication queues of the DAG databases to see how much they were backing up, but it doesn't look like we can use Get-MailboxCopyStatus to check because the queues for the offline secondary datacenter DAG nodes are listed as "ServiceDown".
I looked in Perfmon but nothing stood out, and every Exchange cmdlet I try seems to want the remote DAG node to be online.
Does anyone know a way to check the replication queue backlog on the DAG node with the mounted database, to a DAG node that's offline?
