With Exchange 2010, Outlook says "The operation failed." when trying to send some mails with attachments.

Outlook(tested withOutlook2007 andOutlook2010)can not sendsome emails, showing the error"The operationfailed.". If I try to save is as a draft, gives theerror "The item cannot be saved to this folder. The folder was deleted or moved, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for the item?".

This occurs if theaccount is on anExchangeServer2010 (withSP1RU5).The same testwithanExchange 2007accountdoes notfault. It does not fail inExchange2010 ifthe Outlook profile is configured with cachedmode.

Some feature of theattachedfilehas to do withthe error. Some testshave been done witha .doc document, and if the fileis editedand savedagain, it never fails.

Interestingly, ifAttach thefile and thendeletethe fileattached, andtoattachit again, the problem disappears.!!!!!!!

The same problemoccurswhen you edit some emailsindraftthat has a pictureattachedin themail body.If you try tosend thedraftgives the sameerror above, and ifyou try to saveedits, it gives the seconderror described. If you deletethe image disappearsthe problem.

WithOWA no problem is detected.

It is important toresolve themalfunctionas soonas possible, as it has happened several times and isvery worrying.
