Exchange 2010 SP2 R4 CAS migration

Hi,

Currently we have 1 exchange server holding all roles. My goal is to create a CAS array containing to new servers who are load balanced by a Netscaler.

I understand I need to install CAS on the new server, create a cas array and assign them to the databases. I also see that we will have to manually repair all Outlook profiles.

But can I prepare the move upfront? Can I install the CAS roles, create CAS array, setup load balancing without interupting the 'live' CAS server? (i will not assign the newly created CAS array to any database)
