We are about to deploy exchange 2010, we plan to deploy an all-in-one exchange VM, and place it into our two node HyperV cluster, the VHD files will be seated in CSV.
Just wondering if it is a supported configuration? How does the hyperV live migration work with exchange 2010? Do I have to shut down the exchange VM before live migration or real live migration is supported?
Microsoft says ‘Exchange server virtual machines, can be combined with host-based failover clustering and migration technology as long as the virtual machines are configured such that they will not save and restore state on disk when moved or taken offline.’ what's this mean?
