Manyually Seed a Database with Exchange 2010 DAG

Hi

We are migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 & currently in the process of adding second node to DAG. While adding the second database to 2nd node it failed with following errors -

The copy of 'Mailbox2' on this server experienced an error that requires it be reseeded &

The required log file 538 f6or Mailbox2\MB02 is missing on the active copy. If you removed the log file, please replace it. If the log file is lost, the database copy will need to be reseeded using Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy.

We have 2 DBs and a few users are configured with 1st DB and none with the second DB. So as mentioned with artilcle "http://www.petri.co.il/seed-exchange-2010-dag-database.htm" we manually seeded the 2nd DB server and it worked fine.

Here our concern is, it's asked to delete all log files from the active node. So in real production environment will the deletion of logs (E00.log/ E00tmp.log, E00xxxx.logs) cause any loss of data that's not yet applied to db?

It will be helpful if someone can suggest the exact procedure of seeding the DBs manually

Thanks in advance
