“Changes to rule cannot be saved” - Public folders - Folder assistant

Hi,

Using exchange 2010 sp1 and outlook2007

We are trying to set up an auto reply on a shared public folder using the Folder Assistant for internal and external mails:

1.      On  mbx, created new mail enabled public folder

2.      Added user joesmith as owner

3.      Added joesmith in ‘manage send permissions’

From joemsith outlook account

1.       On the properties of the folder, selected administration tab>folder assistant

2.      Selected ‘Add rule’ > checked ‘Reply with’ > Template

3.      Enter text in Subject  and body > File menu> save  then close

4.      Click OK. Message appears ‘ the rule will fire on all incoming messages, is this what you want’

5.      Click Yes

6.      Click OK

7.      Error message appears  “Changes to rule cannot be saved”

This only occurs when trying to use the template. Any ideas?

PS. i am an exchnage moron, so please give step by step details if you know a possible solution :)
