We have Exchange 2010, working well, in a working domain that has a lot of AD problems.
The AD problems have been carried forward from NT days when we had a buttload of domains (that have since been demoted and removed) but other problems including a LOT of cruft of old user accounts, etc., etc., etc.
We have decided to create a brand new domain, completely from scratch, of the very same name domain name, but in a sandbox.
I'd like to know what would be required to move the existing Exchange servers (they're clustered), etc. to the sandbox. Once everything has been moved and tested to work correctly, the sandbox environment will be the new production environment.
Make sense?
How tough will this be? What steps will need to be taken?
