We have a system here that is having some trouble with Outlook. I get the "Outlook is trying to retrieved data from the Exchange server" error constantly. It may come up with some other systems intermittently, but with this system, it is constant, and causes Outlook to freeze and become unresponsive as well.
The system is using Windows 7 Pro and Outlook 2010.
The PC itself is not running slowly, and no other computers on the network are having this issue. I would look at the NIC or network cable, but the user is not having any other connectivity issues; only Outlook. Another user in the same office is on the same switch and does not have any issues.
The mailboxes are automatically archived, there are no giant calendars, we tried deleting the OST file, the user has no other accounts attached, and I went so far as to reinstall Outlook entirely.
Is there anything else that can be causing this issue? I have pretty much ruled out network/server-related issues and PC performance issues.
