Move contacts from subdomain to toplevel

Hi

I have a customer with a lot of subdomains which they are consolidating. All child domains has to be removed.

They have a Exchange 2010 organisation and they want all the contacts to be moved to the top level.

What is the best practise here? How do you move contacts from all the subdomains?
