no notification mail received when booking a resource via OWA

Hello,

We have a customer running Exchange 2010, and he brought us to the attention that when booking a resource (room), they do get a notification email when booking via outlook, but not when they book via OWA.
The resource is configured as a room mailbox, and autoaccept is enabled.

We've tested it in a demo envivornment and we have the same result.

Does anyone know how we can configure notification mails to be sent when booking via OWA, and why it behaves like this?
