Hi!
I am experiencing a problem where mail users cannot search the server for mail on their iOS devices. I have tested with multiple iOS devices, iOS versions and different user accounts, but the result is consistent, ruling out config or account issues on the device.
To replicate this issue:
configure an Exchange account for a user in an Exchange 2010 SP2 Environment on an iOS device. set device to sync 3 Days Worth of mail. look in OWA or Outlook/mail.app for an email older than 3 Days. Go to inbox and search for sender, recipient or subject of the selected older than 3 Days email. upon searching a blue link will appear saying "continue searching on the server..." touching search or waiting a second or two should return the wanted mail from the server. Only it doesn't :(. I have done extensive troubleshooting of Exchange server indexing and veriied that indexing is OK.
I have found very few articles o this subject since it's one of these ero config things that should just work. Any suggestions on how to go from here?
