Moved data from one database to other but database not cleared

Hi,

I am running Exchange 2010 with SP2. Last week I moved 40GB of data from one 100GB mailbox database (DB1) to another mailbox database (DB2). After that I did defragmentation of first database (DB1) by running eseutil /d. But running this I did not get the free space of this 40GB which was moved to other database. The size of first database still shows 100GB.

Kindly suggest how to clear this 40GB space from the first database.
