SBS 2008 Migration To 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010 (Third Party Certificate Question)

Hello:

I am in the process of migrating from SBS 2008 to Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010. Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010 will each reside on separate VMs. On the SBS box, we currently have a third-party certificate that we are using for ActiveSync, OWA, Outlook Anywhere and Autodiscover. The included names in the SSL certificate are: autodiscover.externaldomain.com, externaldomain.com, remote.externaldomain.com, mail.externaldomain.com and SERVER1.externaldomain.com). Since SBS 2008 hosts both AD and Exchange and I am going to be separating them into two different servers (SERVER1 for AD and EXCHANGE2010 for Exchange) do I need to make any changes/amendments to my third-party certificate? I am a little fuzzy on how the certificate will know about the new Exchange server name. Or can I simple create a new A record in our internal DNS to point to the new Exchange server and not have to make any changes to the third-party certfificate? Thankyou.
