I have a user whose Outlook client is randomly giving her warnings about her quota which are in conflict with what webmail and powershell state.
EMC has her quotas listed as Issue Warning 1220MB, Prohibit send 1269MB, Prohibit send & receive 1318MB.
Yesterday she sent me a side-by-side photo which shows that Outlook Mailbox Cleanup says "188MB free of 4.15GB" and webmail states "880.34MB of mailbox space used. At 1.24GB you won't be able to send mail."
It seems to happen randomly every couple of days, and when it happend yesterday the situation seemed to fix itself a few minutes later and match webmail. This morning Outlook is reporting "387MB free of 1.23GB". She reports the issue typically remedies itself within 15 minutes.
I thought perhaps Outlook was thinking her PST files were nearing a 4GB FAT32 limit. She has PSTs in her profile, but the local drive they are stored on is NTFS, and the largest one is 1.7GB last modified 2/29/2012.
Why is Outlook reporting two different quota sizes? Where do I begin with this?
