I'm running a mixed environ with exchange 2003 and 2010, aaaand I'm having an address book problem, but can't seem to find information that is relevant to my problem. Generally the issues surrounding this seem to be with the OAB and not the GAL.
However, my GAL does not seem to be updating correctly, as I have tested the address book in cached mode (OAB) and deleted my address book and set my client to non-cached mode and still am not seeing mirrored AD data. From what I understand in non-cached mode you are accessing the GAL instead of the OAB, and the info in the book is still wrong. My mailbox store machine generates the OAB, and is generating the OAB but is definitely not showing what I'm seeing in active directory.......some of the time.
I'm getting the alias problem as well when checking the exchange general tab for the address book objects in the GUI.
Let me know what other info may be needed or if anyone has had a problem with the actual GAL not reflecting AD.
