I have a user that was able to open a (hidden) shared calendar up until a few days ago. She now gets "Unable to open folder" when she clicks on the checkbox to view the calendar.
I have removed the calendar from her profile, unhidden the mailbox, re-added the calendar and she is then able to view the calendar. UNTIL... I hide the calendar again. At that point, she gets the same error as before.
I had her log into another machine, created her a new machine and Outlook profile there and she was able to view the calendar even with the calendar hidden.
I went back to her machine and tried:
1) Created a new Outlook profile
2) Removed remnants of old Outlook profile from her users\...microsoft\outlook folder
3) Re-installed Office 2010 (reboot after uninstall and re-install)
4) Created a new local machine profile for the user and removed old profiles. Also removed keys pertaining to the profile from the registry.
I'm about ready to send the machine to be re-imaged. Any help here would be appreciated!
