We've been having some performance issues since we enabled our retention policies, and need to temporarily stop processing mailboxes until we can get things straightened out. Stop-ManagedFolderAssistant -Identity (server) seems to work great, but I'm assuming it will start back up on its own within a period of time.
Is there a way I can prevent that from happening? Should I adjust the ManagedFolderWorkCycleCheckpoint to some arbitrarily high number of days (or possibly 0?)
