Our environemnt: Exchange 2010 Enterprise server. Public folder hosts on Exchange 2010 server. This server has all three roles(MBX+CAS+HUB).
Issue: Our public folder database only host "OAB" , "F/B" and "EFORMS Registry" under "System Public folder", and there is a public folder with name "ExchsyncSecurityFolder" under "Default Public Folders", 2 days ago it was noticed the PF database size has reached 6.38G, I check the size of PF "ExchsyncSecurityFolder" and it siad "0" in "total items" and "0" in size. I also checked the OAB and it is just several megabytes in size. The whitespace within this PF database is just arounf 100MB.
Actually we keep this PF just for F/B and OAB, no idea why there is a folder with name "ExchsyncSecurityFolder" under default PF, by researching it is found out this folder is used for PF replication between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010 for different exchange org, but the thing is it appear as 0 items and 0 kb in size when I bring up properties for this PF.
Our disk space for PF database is limited and today when I checked the PF database file it grows to 6.5GB.
My Question:
1):How can I found out what is in this PF? From "PF Management console", all I can see is "ExchsyncSecurityFolder" under default PF and "OAB" , "F/B" and "EFORMS Registry" under "System Public folder", and the size is just several MB all together. Any other place I need to go to find out what is in this PF?
2):How can I find out what cause the PF database file size growing in such a quick way?
Thanks in advance.
