Intractable WSMan Problem!

Folks:

Remote access on my on-premises Exchange 2010 died.

I show an Event 8 error message in my event log (stating that EMT identified a problem that might be caused by one of three errors).  I have addressed each of the possible causes and all seems to be fine, but the problem persists.

First, in my applicationhost.config file, in the <globalModules> section, I do have the required entry: "<add name="WSMan" image="C:\Windows\system32\wsmsvc.dll" />"

Second, I do NOT have the Kerbauth module at the Default Web Site level, but I DO have it at the PowerShell level.  It points to c:\program files\microsoft\exchange server\v14\bin\kerbauth.dll.  It is set to module type Native and entry type Local.  So that all looks correct.

Third, the physical path of my PowerShell virtual directory (in Advanced Settings) is properly set to "c:\program files\microsoft\Exchange Server\v14\ClientAccess\PowerShell".

The irony here is that I am trying to migrate to Exchange online, but I need remote capability to migrate!

Does anyone have any other trouble-shooting ideas, or things that I should try, or details that I might have wrong?!

Thanks.

Micah
