On an Exchange 2010 environment that was recently upgraded from 2007, we noticed that users running cached mode were not seeing the changes made to the GAL. I ran the update on the OAB and it came back with event 9327 saying OALGen skipped some entries in the offline adderss list. I put the OAB Generator in medium logging mode and I see some errors and a bunch of informational messages. It is skipping 3 mailboxes because of an invalid SMTP address = ''' which belong to some test accounts so I am ok with it as long as it is not getting in the way. I do get a message saying it successfully generted the OAB. I see a large number of event ID 9359 saying "OALGen truncated or dropped properties for entry [USER] in address list [GAL] because they exceeded the configured size limits for the version 4 offline address list. The affected MAPI ids are: 8008. According to this post:
the 9359 events regarding 8008 are not a problem.
I ran OABInteg with the /t:testall switch and it came back with 4 users who had ADCDisabledMail in the LegacyExchangeDN attribute. After cleaning those up the "testall" test come back clean. I then ran OABInteg with the /t:oabfldcheck switch and it reports the following:
Property type not recognized for Property Tag = 0x6707000A, (null)
Property type not recognized for Property Tag = 0x6699000A, PR_OVERALL_AGE_LIMIT
Property type not recognized for Property Tag = 0x6707000A, (null)
Property type not recognized for Property Tag = 0x6707000A, (null)
Could these be the cause of my problem?
Thank you,
Ryan
