I have 5 Exchange 2010 servers running on 5 Windows 2008 R2 servers.
There is a parent domain with 4 child domains.
The child domains SHOULD only send mail through the parent domain and not to each other. In other words, a star topology.
The crux of my problem is this:
When Outlook users in the parent domain try to set their OOF from Outlook, they cannot.
They can set their OOF via OWA.
When I "Test E-mail AutoConfiguration", I see the Exchange RPC Protocol Availability Service URL points to a child domain, not the parent domain.
Users in the child domain point to the correct Availability Service URL.
The Exchange HTTP Protocol points to the correct URL for the parent and each of the child domains.
Self-signed certificates.
How do I resolve this problem?
Jim.
