I am currently running an exchange 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2. My users are currently experiencing some strange issues. Firstly they are getting old outdated global address lists. We are also getting SMTP connectors emailing to outdated address lists. We have another issue whereby the users can access their own email accounts but any shared mailboxes that have been added via additional permissions in ECP show disconnected. When you authenticate with the shared mailboxes primary logon account it works. This is happening on all databases. The GAL issue also seems to be sporadic and intermittent.<o:p></o:p>
I have done a manual force update on exchange for GAL, AL and OAB. I also rebooted both exchanges last night to see if it resolved either error. When you do a exchange health check it shows all ok. I tried removing the global catalogue for 2 DCs that were local to the site that's having issues. I also forced replication from the parent domain.<o:p></o:p>
