I have an issue with Outlook OWA on our SBS 2011 domain.
Due to a problem with our SBS server just over a week ago, our exchange 2010 server (part of SBS), created duplicate mail boxes & domain users were propted to either use the temporary mailbox, or log onto the old mail without being able to send/receive email. This didn't cause a problem as once I had sorted the SBS server, I used the local .pst files to create new .ost files on the server and this is all up and running again.
The problem lies with our remote offices, as they connect to our mail server using the OWA functionality & I believe that their local machines will not have created .pst files. I have verified this with a remote user and I need to somehow re-activate their email, calendars and contacts, as this information is needed for BAU within our organisation.
Is anybody aware of a way to recover the old email for these users as I have been unable to find any information on the web, and Microsoft want to charge me the earth to support the software that we purchased from them!
Any help would be appreciated!
Chayne Mitchell.
