Hi,
My organization currently has an exchange environment with one email domain and four physical sites. Our HQ sites runs 2010 and replicates with DR (also 2010). We also have two remote sites overseas that each have exchange 2003 servers. Our plan is to migrate all of the mailboxes at the two remote sites to the DR site. The reason we don't move to our HQ is because we do not want HQ downtime to affect our remote users.
SMTP routing to the correct site should not be an issue since we can update our routing service to send mail to the DR site for those users. I'm assuming that the best method for autodiscover for me would be two srv records one for HQ and one for DR, with HQ the lower weight.
Will the above config ensure that my users at the remote sites still have access to activesync, outlook anywhere, OWA if our HQ site goes down?
