We migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 a couple months back. After the migration, we noticed an issue with a shared inbox. The inbox receives emails from external companies and has rules to forward those emails to certain internal employees. After the rule forwards the emails, it now drops the 'mailto' address in the from field.
On 2003
From: Company X [mailto:user@companyX.com]
On 2010
From: Company X
If I log into the account, the mailto address is there. Also, after manually forwarding an email, the mailto address shows.
