Hello All.
I have a customer who has a “front-end/back-end” installation of Exchange 2003, both on the same physical network, and the hardware on the front end server is failing.
They are waiting for approval to migrate to Exchange Server 2010 on new hardware but that could take a few weeks and I’m afraid the server won’t last that long.
I searched during the weekend and could not find any MS documentation with the steps on how to remove the front-end and use only one server.
Can anyone suggest any documents to follow specifically for exchange 2003 front-end?
