How to add proxyaddress to distributiongroup with Powershell?

I have seen examples of how to add a proxyaddress for a user mailbox with Powershell using get/set-mailbox.  But how can you accomplish the same for a distribution group?  I am trying to an x500 address to a group of cross-forest migrated distribution groups.
