Exchange 2010 - Restore User Deleted Calendar items

Hello All !

I need some help restoring some calendare items, see notes below.

1.  The calendar items were deleted from the users Outlook 2007 while syncing a blackbery.  Desktop software is notorious for removing previous calendar items user failed to notice this.

2.  The calendar items that were deleted were months back, meaning the 15 day recovery option within outlook is not an option for me.

3.  I have not enabled SingleItemRecoveryEnabled because I didn't know it was an option until this issue came about.  Is this enabled by default or is it something I have to turn on for each mailbox ? ?  Suggestions ?

All of this being said, how would I restore calendar items for this user ?  I have read  http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/dpmexchbackup/thread/0fbc3b4e-b85f-4e69-928b-5d37bf4da7a5 but my lack of knowledge of Exchange is evident when attempting to understand this.  It talks about restoring the users exchangedb but I'm unsure where to go from there.  I have multiple backups going back weeks that is not a problem.

Again as mentionned I've never had to do this and I have little or no knowlegde of Exchange 2010, I have read the articles on what changes were implimented in 2010 along with some notes on how to restore single items, but they don't seem to relate to my case, and if they do I simply can't seem to see the end result.
