Slow Free/Busy access, Outlook 2010 often "Not Responding"

We are seeing an issue, mainly reported by users who are delegates of 3 or more users, in the last month. Outlook will often show a "not responding" error and sometimes crash all together. These issues crop up when accepting/declining invites from the Inbox, or even when creating appointments and attempting to view the Free/Busy information for several users. 

We have done the basics. Most add-ins have been removed except the necessary ones. PST archives have been removed. The systems themselves are brand new, at least 4GB of RAM (I won't get into it too deep). 

The Exchange environment is Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4. There are 2 CAS servers and 2 MB servers in this site. 

The issues 'seemed' to have crept up after the RU4 install, but we can't be certain that's it. I was just looking for some more ideas on where to go in troubleshooting this issue. I can't seem to find much on TechNet, various Exchange forums, etc that would lead me to believe it's an RU4 problem. These issues have been reported by all of the delegates for the most part, at once. We have rebooted the Exchange environment twice now.

Anyone else have any ideas on where to go next besides calling Microsoft?
