I've got an Exchange 2010 SP2 environment with IMAP connectivity for a voicemail system to send voicemails to the inbox. The voicemail server uses a service account to connect to the mailboxes. The service account has the correct permissions and I can get voicemails in the inbox, unless the mailbox has a personal archive. I have tried to telnet to this server and I can access mailboxes using:
?LOGIN domain/voicemail/mailbox password
as long as it is a non-archive mailbox, as soon as I create an archive for the mailbox I can no longer connect to the mailbox with a different user account via telnet, but I can configure Outlook and connect to it.
The error that I get in telnet is:?Login BAD Command Error. 12
Thanks,
Herb
